I developed a concept know as the ‘Yogi Toolbox’, which is a method of integrating yoga into your life and adapting the practise to work for your routine and goals. Through this method, many clients find a deeper love of yoga and adopt it into their lives for the long-term. The ‘Yogi Toolbox’ is a way to also gently incorporate other wellness practises into your yoga class and life in a holistic approach. Such practises include Ayurveda, breathwork and meditation.
This idea behind the ‘Yogi Toolbox’ is to make wellness work for you, so that you can reap the benefits of a clear mind, calm manner, healthy body and happy heart.
PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES
Suited to your time schedule and in the comfort of your own home, 1 on 1 yoga classes ensure that you get the most out of your practise by working specifically on your yoga goals. Whether you are wanting to delve deeper into asana, pranayama or meditation (or a bit of everything), the careful guidance and tailored sequence will guarantee that you get the most out of your time spent on the mat. Private classes can also be facilitated online, to ensure that throughout the demands of lifestyle or travel you can access our practise together.
Nurture Your Nature Through Yoga
With the freedom to join these classes from anywhere, the virtual studio offers a range of different live yoga classes hosted via Zoom. Classes include Prenatal, Slow Flow, Yin and Yoga Nidra and the timetable changes throughout the seasons with new classes and times being updated often to suit all yogis. Slow Flow class includes a meditation, breathwork and warm-up, followed by a vinyasa flow with many options to build strength and advances your asanas as you journey through your yoga practise.
Move through your pregnancy with the support of your fellow yogi-mums in these gentle and grounding prenatal classes. Suitable for mums in their second and third trimesters, this is a wonderful way to move the body, find presence and calmness within and connect to the baby through meditation. The class is modified with the use of props to ensure a safe practise for all.
virtual YIN & NIDRA
Perfect for a Sunday afternoon, this double yin and yoga ndira sessions allows us to slow down and tune in to ourselves as we transition deeper into our emotional and physical bodies. Yin yoga is a series of poses held for a few minutes each as we uncover tension and surrender out bodies to the mat. Following on from these deep stretches is a restorative yoga nidra practise, also known as ‘yogic sleep’, which is a deeply restful and healing guided meditation. One hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of REM deep sleep!
Making the most of the glorious Hyde Park, the park yoga classes are friendly and a great way to take your practise outdoors. Open to all levels of yogis, the practise builds slowly, step by step through the flow with queues for alignment and breath as we move. With the space and soft ground, park yoga is a wonderful class to change up your practise … or to get you off your laptop and to really be able to switch off for some ‘me time’.
